Trading the Blue for Green.

Whoa!!! I did not see this one coming, but the Jets make a very impressive defensive move. They trade FB Tony Richardson and a 3rd round pick for DE Osi Umenyiora. Umenyiora will still play in New York, but he will trading his blue and white jersey for a green and white one. After the trade was confirmed, Rex Ryan had this to say. " With the injury to Sean Ellis, it was obvious that we were going to be in search for some defensive line help, but I wanted to give my guys a chance to see what they could do. I was impressed with Devito, but when I found out that Osi was available, I had to take a chance. Osi will be practicing with us this week, and he will be starting next week vs the Dolphins, in replace of Mike Devito." This is big, Osi Umenyiora is a great DE, who is not young, but has lots of years left in the tank. I cant wait to see how much pressure he can provide, on the outside, while Kris Jenkins continues to dominate the inside and crush the run. Our Defense just looks scary now!!
