Owls finish #2 in the polls, which just caps off the excitement of another impressive year. Great job guys, great undefeated season, and I'm happy we finished so strong. Can't wait to see our team next year. GO OWLS!

We also finished this season with a few All-Americans. Our only 1 All-American award goes to Left End I.Marquardt, who set the new team season record for most sacks in a year, with 17.0. He also won the 2011 Lombardi Trophy, which acknowledges the best defensive lineman.

According to the All-Sun Belt, we had 14 First team All-Americans and 7 2nd-Team All Americans.
