After putting up 35 in the second quarter against WVU last week, the Owls follow up another great 2nd quarter by putting up 28 on the Rajin' Cajuns of University of Lafayette, in their SunBelt opener. The owls passing game set the tone again with another great performance from Ben Burch, who has really set the tone this season with his pin point accuracy, and gutsy play style. Week after week he decimates secondaries by taking chances that normal quarterbacks wont take at any level. I see awards coming this kids way if the rest of the defenses this season do not find a way to stop him, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. Ben Burch set team records in passing last season, and he looks to be on his way of shattering both his Passing TD record of 28 in a season and his passing yards in a season of 3,695.
There is also no real starter at Runningback, normally Denman gets the start, then Sowell finishes the game, but of course sooner or later our coaches will smarten up, and put our All-American runingback in the starting position so he can make All-American plays.
